Funding is under the GR Strategy Aim 3.2 ‘Reduction in tension, sectarianism and violence at interfaces/contested spaces’ and ‘joined up approach to GR issues at interfaces/contested spaces’.  Proposals must:

The agreement will be put in writing by e-mail for reference.  All monies must be claimed by 29th September 2017.  7 NICVA cyber security & data protection survey

Cyber security and data protection are trending media topics, and their impacts are emerging as key issues for the voluntary and community sector.  While there are huge benefits for organisations in using data effectively, there are increasing risks and challenges.

We believe that many organisations want to get more from their data, and ensure that they comply with legal requirements and have adequate protections in place.
Combining these issues, we have prepared a survey to inform how we can better represent and support our members on these issues.  The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into effect on 25th May 2018 and we recognise the challenges that face many organisations to ensure they are compliant.

The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete. You can access the survey here:
Please Click Here to Start the Survey. We hope that you will find it useful to benchmark where you are at on these issues.   Where you find that some of the terminology or concepts are new to you, we would ask that you choose that option - it is a valid response and will help us get a true assessment of what needs to be done to help our members.

The data we collect will be anonymised and summarised in a report.
