JUNE 06

Changes to Health Service Delivery - Community Engagement Workshop: 1-2pm, 2nd June 06 - Clooney Hall, Waterside

The Network will host, on behalf of the Western Health Board, a community engagement focus group in response to a number of developments designed to improve accessibility to and quality of services.  Much of this will be around how services will be delivered in a community setting, where these will be located and the number of services that can be delivered away from the traditional hospital setting.

The workshop will focus on four key areas of work:

  • Primary Care Community Care Infrastructure (PCCI)
  • Integrated Clinical Assessment Treatment Services (ICATS)
  • Integrated Service Delivery (ISD)
  • Managed Clinical Networks (MCNs)

The target audience for this workshop is the wider community but it may be of particular interest to older people and those with long term health problems, and of course those who work with them.

This will be a relatively small workshop (10-14 places) so you are strongly encouraged to register your interest as quickly as possible - tel: 7127 9090, email: roisin@nwcn.org
