Northern Ireland Consultations: Week Commencing:09 March 2009 |
North-West Community Network is committed to facilitating and promoting engagement with the Community & Voluntary sector in the North-West on the policy issues that affect it.
If you feel the sector should respond collectively to any of these consultations, please communicate this to us - not all consultation/policy issues can be responded to, however, given the sheer volume of documents that are issued.
Alternative formats of the documents referred to below are often available to download from the relevant websites or by contacting the department/lead person involved.
Departmental consultations should, under good practice guidelines, afford twelve weeks for response - if you have any concerns over deadlines please do not hesitate to raise these with the named contact.
Some government departments have begun identifying in advance which policies will be open for consultation – this information can sometimes be sourced directly on individual departmental or public body websites.
As it stands, the website www.consultationni.gov.uk, should carry the same details as below – while this is not always the case, it is certainly worth accessing this site on a regular basis to get updates on what items of public policy are currently being consulted on.
